Neue Halle starkes Programm Die IFFA ist weltweit die wichtigste Innovations-plattform für fleischwirt-schaftliche Investitionsgüter. Auf sieben Hallenebenen prä-sentieren die Hersteller ihre Produkte und Technologien entlang der gesamten Prozess-kette der Fleischverarbeitung: vom Schlachten und Zerlegen über das Verarbeiten bis hin zum Verpacken und Verkau-fen der Waren. Zudem wird die Messe von einem interessanten Rahmen-programm begleitet. Dazu zählen u. a. neben dem Inter-nationalen Meat Vision Con-gress am Vortag der IFFA auch die Verleihung des Fleischerei Technik Award 2013 während der Messe. Dieser Preis wird von der Fleischerei Technik zum zweiten Mal verliehen und ehrt herausragende Inno-vationen der Branche. Internationaler Andrang Erwartet werden rund 58.000 Besucher. Apart from the International Meat Vision Congress on the day before IFFA starts, this also includes the Meat Technology Award 2013. For the second time Meat Technology will be awar-ding significant innovations in the meat processing sector. International visitors The organizers expect around 58,000 visitors. The degree of internationality on both the exhibitor and visitor sides is extremely high. 55 % of sup-pliers and 59 % of trade buyers come to Frankfurt from outside Germany. The top ten exhibi-tor nations are Germany, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, USA, France, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland and Poland. After Germany, the most important visitor nations are the Russian Federation, Italy, The Nether-lands, Spain, Austria, Poland, Vom 4. bis zum 9.
