Die ringförmig angeordneten Vorschalen halten kurzfris-tig das Produkt und beschi-cken einen weiteren Ring mit Wiegeschalen. Ist eine Wiegeschale leer oder es wird ein zusätzliches Produkt benötigt, geht ein Signal an die entspre-chende Vorschale. In Sekun-denbruchteilen bestimmt ein Mikroprozessor die Wiegescha-len, deren Kombination am nächsten zum Zielgewicht liegt. Zur besseren Kontrolle des Produktflusses haben die pro-duktführenden Teile nur ein ge-ringes Gefälle und die Abwurf-höhen sind niedrig gehalten, um Beschädigungen an der Pa-nade zu vermeiden. Jede Sek-tion der Mehrkopfwaage leistet bis zu 60 Wiegungen/Min. – ein Gesamtausstoß von 120 Pa-ckungen. Die Ishida Maschine ist noch leistungsfähiger und Martini Alimentare plant die Geschwindigkeit stufenweise auf bis zu 160 Packungen/Mi-nute zu steigern. Ein weiterer Vorteil der geteilten Waage ist ihre Flexibilität, denn sie kann auch gleichzeitig zwei Zielge-wichte oder sogar verschiedene Produkte verarbeiten. Um eine akkurate Abfüllung in die flachen Schalenverpackun-gen zu ermöglichen, wurde die Mehrkopfwaage mit einem maßgeschneiderten Verteilsys-tem ausgestattet. Die präzise verwiegten Portionen landen in zwei speziellen Abwurfscha-len, die sich synchron mit den Förderbändern bewegen und das Produkt in die „ fahrende“ Schale abfüllen. So wird eine äußerst gleichmäßige Produktverteilung in den Verpackun-gen erreicht. Richtiges Investment Martini Alimentare vermeldet im Vergleich zur Vorgänger-linie 25 % mehr Ausstoß und der um 2 % reduzierte Pro-duktverlust steigert den Ertrag angesichts hochpreisigen Ge-flügelfleisches. Durch die Automatisierung sind 50 % weniger Mitarbeiter zur Bedienung der Linie nötig. Neben diesen Zah-len werden die leichte Bedien-barkeit und der geringe War-tungsaufwand gelobt. Produkt-wechsel und Reinigungsmaß-nahmen sind schnell erledigt. „Die neue Mehrkopfwaage war das richtige Investment zur richtigen Zeit. Damit ist unsere Produktion sofort effizienter ge-worden. Wir stehen erst am An-fang des Prozesses und wissen, dass die Leistung noch steigt, wenn wir vertrauter mit der Anlage sind. Mit der aktuellen Leistung wird die Amortisie-rung in weniger als einem Jahr erreicht“, sagt Claudio Cabassi, Geschäftsführer Produktion. www.martinialimentare.com, www.ishida.de The breaded products are fed onto the weigher from above via a bulk hopper. From the dispersion table, the product is evenly distributed across the radial feeders, with an auto-matic control system regula-ting the vibration intensity and the timing for each individual radial feeder, thus resulting in a consistent and even product flow across the machine. The pool hoppers hold the product briefly and – when called up – discharge their content into a corresponding weigh hopper directly underneath. Once a weigh hopper is empty, a signal is sent to the pool hopper to re-charge the weigh hopper. In a split second, a microprocessor calculates which combination of weigh or booster hoppers, which combination comes closest to the target weight. To better control the product flow, the radial feeders only have a shallow gradient and the drop heights are low, thus minimi-sing damage to the often fra-gile coating. Each section of the multi-head weigher carries out 60 weighments per minute, equating to a total output of 120 packs/min. The Ishida weigher is even more powerful and Mar-tini Alimentare plans to increa-se the speed gradually up to 160 packs/min. Another important advantage of the split weigher is its flexibility, as it can handle two target weights or even two different products at the same time, thus allowing the custo-mer to fulfil separate produc-tion orders simultaneously. The multihead weigher comes com-plete with a bespoke filling/ distribution system to ensure the flat trays are filled accura-tely and without any spillage or any product protruding above the tray rim. The accurately weighed portions are deposited into the trays via two following heads that literally ‘‘follow’’ the trays so a smooth product discharge is guaranteed. This also guarantees a highly uniform product distribution inside each tray. Compared to the previous line, Martini Alimentare reports 25 % more output and a 2 % reduction in product giveaway as well as increases the yield, an important benefit especially for these value added products. Also, with the automation, 50 % fewer staff are required to run the line.
